✅ Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):

  • Minimum: 18 years
  • Maximum: 36 years (UR/EWS).
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC/ST: +5 years | OBC-NCL: +3 years | PwBD: Up to +15 years.
    • COVID-19 Relaxation: One-time 3-year relaxation for candidates exceeding age limits due to the pandemic.

2. Educational Qualification:

  • 10th Pass + ITI/NAC Certificate from NCVT/SCVT.
  • Exceptions: Canteen staff (Class 7th pass) and apprentices trained under the Apprentice Act 1961.

3. Medical Standards:

  • Categories: A-2, A-3, B-1, B-2, C-1, C-2 (based on vision and physical fitness).
  • Key Requirement: Visual acuity standards vary; LASIK surgery candidates are restricted from A-2 and A-3 posts.

  1. Online Registration: Visit RRB Official Websites from 23.01.2025.
  2. Fee Payment:
    • General/OBC: ₹500 (₹400 refundable after CBT).
    • SC/ST/PwBD/Female/ExSM/EBC: ₹250 (fully refundable after CBT).
  3. Documents Required:
    • Scanned photo (50-100 KB) and signature (30-50 KB).
    • Valid ID proof, caste/income certificates (if applicable).

🔍 Selection Process

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT):
    • Subjects: General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence, and Current Affairs.
    • Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD with scribe).
    • Negative Marking: 1/3 deduction for wrong answers.
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
    • Male: Lift 35 kg/run 1000m in 4 min 15 sec.
    • Female: Lift 20 kg/run 1000m in 5 min 40 sec.
    • Exempted: PwBD and CCAA candidates.
  3. Document Verification & Medical Exam: Final merit-based selection.
